Trying Out New Tools and Software

Now that I have a new computer for the first time in years, I’ve also decided to treat it like a blank slate. This means that everything, from the software I use to how I organize files and run things, is subject to scrutiny and change.

The first thing to go has been my web browser. I’ve been using Chrome basically since it came out, but I’ve been looking to switch things up for a while and now I have the perfect excuse. I’m trying out Firefox for a while (haven’t used it in years) and there are a few other options I want to test drive before I settle on something permanent. If you have any suggestions, please shoot me an e-mail. All I require is support for 1Password.

I’ve also been playing around with XYplorer as my main file manager. And though I haven’t been able to dive too deep into it I suspect it’ll stick around for the long run.

I love this process. So much new stuff to play around with and explore!
