“Criminally underrated” is a phrase that I’m sure has been used, at this point, to describe basically anything and everything that has ever existed or will exist in the future. The Internet thrives on hyperbole after all.
But in case of the band The Other Side of the Sky and their absolutely brilliant 2005 album Rorschach I feel like criminally underrated is a valid description.
If you’re into the post-rock/metal genre. If bands like God is an Astronaut, Isis or Godspeed! You Black Emperor is your kind of thing, you should definitely give them a listen.
Sadly the band is no longer active and Rorschach, which was released almost 20 years ago, was the last thing they put out. Maybe one day they’ll make a triumphant return, but I highly doubt it at this point. Still, Rorschach is an amazing album. Go listen to it!
