So, on Monday, iOS 18 was finally released, and with it came some new options for customizing our home screens. And since tinkering with my home screen is something I probably enjoy a little too much, I’ve spent quite a few hours since the new update came out trying to figure out my new setup.
This is what I’ve got so far:
As you can see I’ve gone for minimalism on my primary home screen for this one (still using the Shortcut launchers blatantly stolen from Tim Nahumck), and moved all my widgets over to a second page. I’m not sure if I’m going to stick with this in the long run but I’ll give it a shot for now. I suspect swiping over to the second page to access the information from my widgets might get a little annoying, but I do like being able to see more of my wallpaper.
The new options for the Control Center are still something I’m playing around with. I’ll make sure to post an update once I figure out how I want it to look and function.
