Finally Getting My Home Office Set Up Again

I have been without a proper home office set-up for about six months at this point. That means I’ve been doing my creative work, gaming, and all my other computer related activities on my laptop at the dining room table. For six months. It hasn’t been the best either for ergonomics or my own mood, if I’m being honest. But we’ve made it work.

We moved into our new house at the end of April and the amount of work we’ve had on our plate getting everything looking the way we wanted has meant that the part of the house that contains my home office has been far, far down on the list of priorities. But this weekend we finally got around to painting the room and getting all the crap cleared out and my desk and chair moved in.

Finally it is my time!

It’s a bit empty right now.

It’s going to be a long term project to get everything set up the way I want it, but at least I have a proper place to do my computer stuff now which I am very pleased about, and I’m sure my missus is happy that my computer no longer has a permanent spot on the dining room table.
