I get the impression that most kids these days usually listen to music in the form of playlists. And while I’m not entirely opposed to that way of living, I’m personally more of a listen-to-an-entire-record kind of dude. So I figured I’d give a shout-out to three albums that have been getting some serious playtime at my place in the last few weeks.
The Mars Volta – De-Loused in the Comatorium
21 years later this album is still just as amazing as it was when I first heard it when it was released in 2003. The worst song on this album is like a 9.2/10.
Ben Prunty – Transmissions from a Hidden World
Ben is just so, so good at what he does.
Locil – Monument Builders
Superb ambient background music for working on creative stuff.
