Lately I’ve been spending less time endlessly scrolling my various social media feeds. Less time diving head first into whatever topic the YouTube algorithm has divined that I’m interested in and would love to spend hours learning about. Less time aimlessly browsing ArtStation and similar sites, telling myself that I’m “just looking for inspiration”.
There has been no intentional effort on my part to do any of this, but I’m certainly not complaining about it. I try to mostly keep up with the people I follow over on Mastodon, but I have no need to read everything. I’m more than happy to scroll right to the top of the list if I open Ivory and find that there are 100+ unread items in my timeline.
The list of unread posts in my RSS reader is getting a little out of hand though. I should do something about that.
Anyway. I need to get back to being a little more offline.
… Oh, if you’re one of those people I haven’t gotten around to responding to about a thing. I’ll get to it, I swear. I’m just a little busy at the moment.
